Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Resource Worker to join our team at DDRC. As a Community Resource Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with developmental disabilities in achieving their goals and exploring their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement personalized plans to support clients in achieving their goals
  • Provide support in areas such as career planning, education, employment, and volunteer activities
  • Facilitate team development and collaboration within the community
  • Provide personal care and support as needed
  • Liaise with support networks and ensure regular communication
  • Attend workshops and re-certifications as required
Requirements
  • Disabilities studies certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience
  • Current Standard First Aid CPR/AED – Level C certification
  • Driver's license and vehicle considered an asset
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
