Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Technician to join our collaborative and innovative team. As an AutoCAD Technician, you will be responsible for the daily preparation of design documents for a variety of projects, including commercial, retail, municipal, and other civil/architectural designs.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare civil and architectural construction documents that meet permitting requirements and allow for efficient project execution.
- Integrate multiple key factors, such as municipal regulations, client design criteria, and sound engineering practices, into your design work.
- Collaborate with the Drafting Manager, Project Managers, Senior Project Managers, and Administrative Staff to maintain strong team relationships.
- Exhibit exceptional communication skills and attention to detail while handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Associate's degree in Architectural or Civil Engineering Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil or architectural design, with the ability to be self-sufficient during periods of absence by senior staff.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp (or equivalent rendering experience).
- Strong interpersonal skills and a team player mindset.
