Experienced AutoCAD Technician Wanted

Edison Engineers Inc. is a leading provider of construction services, specializing in the repair and restoration of existing buildings. Our team of experts delivers comprehensive and accurate construction documents that meet our clients' needs while ensuring efficiency and minimal changes in the scope of work.
Job OverviewAs an AutoCAD Technician, you will be responsible for the daily preparation of design documents for a variety of projects, including commercial, retail, municipal, and other civil/architectural designs. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing civil and architectural construction documents that meet permitting requirements and allow for efficient project execution
- Collaborating with the Drafting Manager, Project Managers, Senior Project Managers, and Administrative Staff to maintain strong team relationships
- Exhibiting exceptional communication skills and attention to detail while handling multiple projects simultaneously
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An Associate's degree in Architectural or Civil Engineering Technology or a related field
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in civil or architectural design, with the ability to be self-sufficient during periods of absence by senior staff
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp (or equivalent rendering experience)
- Mechanical drafting experience is an asset, but not required, as training will be provided
