Framing Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at Advantage Builders Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity of our buildings.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare building layouts in accordance with local building codes, using precision measuring tools.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel.
- Construct foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Schedule and coordinate work on construction sites, ensuring timely completion of projects.
- Estimate costs and materials required for each project.
As a Framing Carpenter, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment, often at heights, in noisy and dusty conditions. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding role.
Requirements- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Valid driver's licence and own transportation.
- Steel-toed safety boots and tools.
- Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate reliability.
