About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at Advantage Builders Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity of our buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare building layouts in accordance with local building codes, utilizing measuring tools and equipment.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel.
  • Construct foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Schedule and coordinate work on construction sites, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for projects.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the trade.
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and tools.
  • Ability to work at heights, in noisy and dusty environments.
Work Environment

Our team works in various locations, including residential and urban areas. You will be required to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.
