About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at Advantage Builders Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity of our buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare building layouts in accordance with local building codes, using precision measuring tools.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel.
  • Construct foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Schedule and coordinate work on construction sites, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for each project.
Work Environment

As a Framing Carpenter, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment, often at heights, in noisy and dusty conditions. You must be physically fit and able to handle heavy loads.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's licence and own transportation.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and necessary tools.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate reliability.
