Job Overview

Reporting directly to the Project Manager, the Project Coordination Specialist will oversee the management of technical documentation essential for the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities

Support the project team in leadership roles; take initiative in managing information flow, setting expectations, and ensuring quality and cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
Engage with vendors to obtain pricing; provide recommendations for contract awards.
Compile and prepare comprehensive and well-considered estimates; conduct quantity takeoffs and bid assessments; clarify specific details and assumptions.
Draft precise and clear contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
Track and review subcontractor submissions, ensuring compliance with contract specifications.
Identify business development opportunities; conduct follow-up communications regarding bids; assist in negotiations and deal closures.
Manage multiple projects concurrently at various stages and locations, utilizing a robust understanding of construction trades.

Required Qualifications

Strong leadership and organizational capabilities.
Exceptional time management skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively. Strong problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in spreadsheet and project management tools, such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Capacity to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
Experience with Procore is advantageous.
Ability to assist and mentor project coordinators in their roles.
