About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Claims Analyst to join our Claims Strategy and Transformation team in the West. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in analyzing and resolving property claims, ensuring that our customers receive fair and timely settlements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete monthly claims file audits through the Internal File Review program, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for process streamlining.
  • Analyze and present complex data to stakeholders, providing actionable insights and recommendations to drive business growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including claims, underwriting, and risk management.
  • Develop and implement business practices and tools to improve claims handling and reduce leakage.
  • Provide coaching and training to claims teams on technical property claims handling aspects.
  • Participate in the development of department initiatives and contribute to the growth and success of our claims organization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of claims adjusting experience, with a focus on commercial property.
  • Experience with additional lines of business considered an asset.
  • Experience in quality assurance considered an asset.
  • CIP completed or in progress (preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information and influence decisions.
  • Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to drive results and influence stakeholders.
  • Superior problem-solving and persuasion skills.
  • Forward thinking, with an innovative mindset.
  • Working knowledge of claims systems and Microsoft Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Self-driven and highly organized, with the ability to prioritize work and exercise independent thinking.
  • Ability to quickly pivot and adapt in an ever-evolving business.
