Job Title: Transportation Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Coordinator to join our team at GIS TRANSPORT LTD.

Job Summary:

The Transportation Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, preparing and submitting reports, and ensuring the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations
  • Prepare and submit reports to management and stakeholders
  • Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed
  • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to improve productivity and product quality
  • Train workers in duties and policies
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to employees
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure timely completion
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in transportation or logistics an asset
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Client focus and efficient interpersonal skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities

Work Environment:

The Transportation Coordinator will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work under pressure. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills and be able to prioritize tasks effectively.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

The Transportation Coordinator will work 35 to 40 hours per week.
