Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Saskatchewan Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate food and labor costs, and maintain accurate records of food consumption and inventory.
  • Analyze operating costs and other data to optimize kitchen efficiency.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, specialist chefs, and other kitchen workers.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to enhance the dining experience.
  • Collaborate with clients to plan and execute special events, such as weddings and banquets.
  • Recruit and hire staff, and provide guidance on food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience as a chef or in a related culinary role.
  • Bachelor's degree in culinary arts or a related field.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to work in a physically demanding kitchen environment.
