About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Mama's Grocery. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for leading our culinary team and ensuring that our customers receive the highest quality food and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and implement menus that meet the tastes and dietary needs of our customers, while also ensuring that our kitchen operations are efficient and cost-effective.

Culinary Leadership

Supervise and train our kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers, to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent service.

Inventory Management

Manage our inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that we have the resources needed to meet customer demand.

Quality Control

Inspect our kitchen and food service areas to ensure that they meet our high standards for cleanliness and safety.

Customer Service

Provide excellent customer service by ensuring that our customers receive their food in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role

Work Setting

Supermarket/grocery store environment
