About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Cinta Ria Malaysian Fusion Malaisienne. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation

Develop and implement menus that showcase the flavors and ingredients of Malaysian cuisine, while also catering to the tastes and dietary requirements of our customers.

Team Management

Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the demands of the kitchen.

Inventory Management

Manage the inventory of ingredients, supplies, and equipment to ensure that the kitchen is well-stocked and that waste is minimized.

Cleanliness and Safety

Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

A minimum of 2 years of experience as a head cook or executive chef in a high-volume kitchen, preferably in a Malaysian or Southeast Asian restaurant.

Certifications and Qualifications

A valid food safety certification and a strong understanding of kitchen management principles and practices.

Language and Communication

Fluency in English and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
