We're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team at United Rentals. As a key customer contact and consultant, you will serve as a trusted advisor to our customers, providing expert solutions to meet their equipment rental needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process rental quotations, reservations, and contracts to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Establish new rental and sales accounts by serving walk-in and call-in customers, building strong relationships, and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Negotiate prices on equipment rentals and contractor supplies in accordance with pricing policies and procedures.
  • Dispatch delivery trucks and manage customer expectations regarding delivery, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Generate leads for new business and communicate with Outside Sales Representatives to drive growth and revenue.
  • Mentor and train new Inside Sales Representatives to ensure a smooth onboarding process and high-quality customer service.
  • Warm call on lost and/or dormant accounts to retain business and maintain customer loyalty.
  • Assist in branch operations by running reports, tracking progress, and communicating with branch Manager or Operations Manager to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years inside sales experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and customer service skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Keen attention to detail and a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
