About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at 2476049 ONTARIO INC. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning: Arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events to support the organization's goals.
  • HR Support: Assist with staff consultation and grievance procedures, ensuring a fair and respectful work environment.
  • Department Coordination: Coordinate the activities of the HR department to ensure alignment with the organization's objectives.
  • Financial Management: Plan and control budget and expenditures, ensuring effective financial management.
  • Supervision: Supervise other workers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful team performance.
  • Training and Development: Train staff on new policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Policies and Procedures: Establish and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Recruitment: Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Employee Relations: Respond to employee questions and complaints, providing timely and effective support.
  • Payroll Administration: Oversee payroll administration, ensuring accurate and timely payment.
  • Data Management: Maintain and manage digital databases, ensuring data accuracy and security.
  • Bookkeeping: Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, including financial record-keeping and reporting.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct performance reviews, providing constructive feedback and coaching.
  • Workplace Health and Safety: Evaluate work environments, programs, and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in an administrative role.
Working Conditions
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
