Cube Packaging Solutions is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator/Material Handling Specialist to join our warehouse team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of products and materials within our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Material Handling: Safely operate a counter-balance forklift to move products and materials throughout the warehouse.
  • Inventory Management: Use an RF Scanner to accurately track and manage inventory levels.
  • Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including the WIP area.
  • Documentation: Print tickets for totes in our ERP system as required.
  • Team Support: Assist colleagues with breaks and provide coverage as needed.
  • Process Improvement: Assist set-up techs to expedite tooling changes and learn new processes.
  • Scrap Management: Grind scrap material and maintain a clean workspace.
  • Quality Assurance: Follow and comply with our Cube Management System (CMS) to ensure quality and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Education: Minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Experience: Must have forklift certification (propane and/or electric) and a minimum of 3 years of experience in material handling.
  • Skills: Basic math and attention to detail, ability to maneuver in tight spaces, and ability to differentiate between colors and their shades.
  • Technology: Basic computer skills and experience with ERP or SAP systems an asset.
  • Industry Experience: Warehousing and manufacturing experience, with shipping and receiving experience an asset.
