Job Summary

Hamilton Health Sciences is seeking a skilled Registered MRI Technologist to join our Diagnostic Services team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will be responsible for coordinating, performing, and evaluating Diagnostic Services examinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and perform Diagnostic Services examinations using state-of-the-art scanners and software.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses, physicians, and allied health specialists.
  • Guide and direct clinical and technical associates and students in a teaching and research environment.
  • Provide care within the HHS core values of respect, caring, innovation, and accountability.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved training program in Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
  • Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
  • Current registration in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
  • Professional designation of MRT (Magnetic Resonance).
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) registration.
  • Demonstrated ability to work responsibly in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated effective communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Evidence of participation in ongoing education and professional development.
