Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our Diagnostic Services team at Hamilton Health Sciences. As a key member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will be responsible for coordinating, performing, and evaluating Diagnostic Services examinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and perform Diagnostic Services examinations using advanced MRI technology
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses, physicians, and allied health
  • Guide and direct clinical and technical associates and students in a teaching and research environment
  • Provide high-quality patient care within the HHS core values of respect, caring, innovation, and accountability
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved training program in Magnetic Resonance Imaging
  • Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
  • Current registration in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
  • Membership in the CAMRT/OAMRT preferred
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) registration
  • Demonstrated ability to work responsibly in a team environment
  • Demonstrated effective communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Effective problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Evidence of participation in ongoing education and professional development
Working Conditions

This is a temporary position until December 2025. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, rotating through various modalities and sites based on qualifications and unit requirements.
