MRI Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at Hamilton Health Sciences. As a key member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will be responsible for coordinating, performing, and evaluating Diagnostic Services examinations.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and perform MRI examinations for adult and pediatric patients
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses, physicians, and allied health
- Work with state-of-the-art scanners and software to produce high-quality images
- Guide and direct clinical and technical associates and students in a teaching and research environment
- Provide care within the HHS core values of respect, caring, innovation, and accountability
- Graduate of an approved training program in Magnetic Resonance Imaging
- Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
- Membership in the CAMRT/OAMRT preferred
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) registration
- Demonstrated ability to work responsibly in a team environment
- Demonstrated effective communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Effective problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Evidence of participation in ongoing education and professional development
