As a member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will be responsible for coordinating, performing, and evaluating Diagnostic Services examinations, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and providing care within our core values of respect, caring, innovation, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and perform Diagnostic Services examinations, including MRI scans, using state-of-the-art scanners and software.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses, physicians, and allied health specialists, to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Guide and direct clinical and technical associates and students in a teaching and research environment.
  • Provide care that is respectful, caring, innovative, and accountable, aligning with our hospital's core values.
  • Rotate through other modalities and sites based on qualifications and unit requirements.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved training program in Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
  • Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
  • Current registration in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
  • Professional designation of MRT (Magnetic Resonance).
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) registration.
  • Demonstrated ability to work responsibly in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated effective communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Evidence of participation in ongoing education and professional development.
  • Membership in the CAMRT/OAMRS preferred.
