Job Title: Industrial Meat Cutter

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Meat Cutter to join our team at our main processing facility in Brooks, Alberta.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for cutting beef or quarters of carcasses into primal cuts for further cutting, processing, or packaging. This role requires strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cut beef or quarters of carcasses into primal cuts for further cutting, processing, or packaging
  • De-bone meat and cut it into specific cuts for institutional, commercial, or other wholesale use
  • Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as provided by the Employer
  • Work in a variety of environments, including wet, humid, cold, hot, inside, or outside
  • Work with animal blood and various parts/contents of a butchered animal
Requirements:
  • High school diploma
  • Completion of a program in industrial meat cutting or 1-2 years' experience as an industrial butcher or trimmer
  • Basic English skills
