Danny Greek Grill Express Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
- Hire and Train Food Service Staff: Hire and train food service staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service and prepare high-quality food.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that their needs are met and they have a positive experience.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for management to make informed decisions.
- Scheduling: Establish work schedules for food service staff, ensuring that adequate staffing levels are maintained to meet customer demand.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment or equivalent experience.
- Certifications: Food Safety Certificate.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication skills, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
