As the Sr. Manager, Data Science, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Cineplex's data-driven future. You will lead a team of talented data scientists and machine learning engineers, driving the development and implementation of cutting-edge solutions that enhance the customer experience and optimize business operations.
Your Impact
- Strategic Vision & Roadmap: Define and evolve the data science strategy, ensuring it aligns with Cineplex's overall business objectives.
- Thought Leadership: Serve as a subject matter expert in data science and machine learning, guiding stakeholders across the organization.
- Team Development & Collaboration: Build and mentor a high-performing team of data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and deliver impactful solutions.
- Project Delivery & Impact: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of data science projects, ensuring they are implemented successfully and drive measurable business value.
Your Expertise
- Deep understanding of data science/machine learning techniques and experience building and managing predictive and optimization models.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team of data scientists, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Experience with data cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, Databricks, Snowflake).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
