Assistant Registrar, Student Information Systems Lead

Thompson Rivers University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Assistant Registrar, Student Information Systems. This position plays a critical role in supporting student enrolment, data, and systems within the university.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and supervise teams of staff in Enrolment Services, providing technical, functional, and operational expertise in the management of student information systems.
- Develop and implement strategies for efficient use of systems, champion new technologies, and liaise with other departments and external agencies to facilitate data exchange.
- Supervise operational reporting for Enrolment Services, including applicant, enrolment, communications, and student records data.
- Act as the primary Banner Student Distributed Security Manager, assigning security access to Banner Student Forms and Argos reports.
- Author, review, and evaluate functional and/or technical specifications and business requirements for student systems and enrolment services.
- Bachelor's degree required (Master's preferred)
- Minimum of five (5) years of full-time management experience in a post-secondary environment, preferably in a registrar's office setting.
- Demonstrated experience as a functional analyst administering a student information system, preferably in the Banner Student module.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate, persuade, and present technical and non-technical concepts to persons with limited technical backgrounds.
- Strong analytical and organizational ability, with proven ability to exercise good judgment, initiative, and maintain confidentiality.
