Job Summary

Bragg Creek Bottle Depot is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Shipper-Receiver. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods in and out of our facility, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shipping and Receiving
    • Determine the most efficient method of shipment to meet customer needs
    • Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading and invoices
    • Assemble and inspect containers and crates to ensure safe transportation
  • Inventory Management
    • Verify incoming goods against invoices and other documents to ensure accuracy
    • Maintain a reliable and efficient internal record-keeping system
    • Record and report any discrepancies or issues with shipments
  • Warehouse Operations
    • Route goods to designated storage areas to optimize space and efficiency
    • Pack and unpack goods to be shipped or received
    • Oversee the loading and unloading of goods to ensure safe and secure handling
    Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines and pressure to meet customer needs. The successful candidate will be able to lift heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in a related field is an asset
  • Dependability, flexibility, and reliability are essential for this role
  • Ability to work as part of a team and provide excellent customer service
  • English language proficiency
