What is the opportunity?
The Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a Branch Operations Manager to join their team in Newmarket. As a key member of the branch management team, the Branch Operations Manager will be responsible for providing operational and administrative support to the team, ensuring compliance standards are met, and managing client account activities. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement the branch director's vision and ensure the branch is efficiently and effectively managed.
- Manage daily administrative operations, including approval of transactions, verification of documentation, and account openings.
- Assist with training new staff and coordinate ongoing training initiatives.
- Ensure compliance and internal control requirements are met.
- Manage branch technology access, setup, and troubleshooting.
- Manage sales support within the branch.
Requirements
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH)
- Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- A professional approach to all situations to create a positive working environment.
- Ability to complete duties independently seeking out own answers and solutions.
