Job Title: Intermediate Airports Engineer

Tetra Tech is seeking an experienced Intermediate Airports Engineer to join our team in Vancouver, BC. As a key member of our Airports Group, you will provide airfield engineering services related to project management, planning, assessments, design, site inspection, and contract administration.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sound technical solutions for airport infrastructure projects.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, quality control documents, and other project deliverables.
  • Liaise with clients, project teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to deliver high-quality projects on time and on budget.
  • Participate in RFP evaluations and proposal preparation.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in civil engineering in Canada, specifically in airport design/project management.
  • Knowledge of Transport Canada, ICAO, and FAA guidelines.
  • Proven skills in civil (airport) engineering fundamentals, including geometric, pavement, and grading designs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Well-organized and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Proven success in delivering high-quality projects on time and on budget.
  • Aptitude for planning, scheduling, and financial management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team environment.
  • Valid Canadian driver's license.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent diploma with relevant experience.
