About the Role

Tetra Tech is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Airport Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Vancouver, BC. As a key member of our Airports Group, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality projects on time and on budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sound technical solutions for airport infrastructure projects.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and quality control documents.
  • Liaise with clients, project teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Prepare project drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and operational plans.
  • Provide project management tasks, including client liaison, tracking, and reporting progress against work plans, budgets, and deliverables.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in civil engineering in Canada, specifically in airport design/project management.
  • Knowledge of Transport Canada, ICAO, and FAA guidelines is essential.
  • Proven skills in employing civil (airport) engineering fundamentals, including geometric, pavement, and grading designs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team environment.
  • Valid Canadian driver's license and willingness to travel for business.
