Job Title: Landscaping Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at De Haas Landscape Design. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and maintenance of outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Planning and Execution: Direct the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, and organize the construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls.
  • Technical Advice: Provide technical guidance to increase the value and functionality of properties.
  • Worksite Environment: Ensure a safe and healthy work environment, managing tasks in hot, cold, and refrigerated conditions.
  • Team Supervision: Lead a team of 1-2 people, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project completion.
  • Logistics and Maintenance: Requisition materials, equipment, and supplies, and maintain accurate work records and logs.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in landscaping or a related field.
  • Specialization: Specialized environmental skills and knowledge, with a focus on lawn care.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, working under pressure with tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods.
