About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at 2339366 ONTARIO INC. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and performing various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping
    • Accurately maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
    • Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Financial Reporting
    • Prepare and submit financial reports to management, including budget variances and financial analysis.
    • Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other financial documents.
  • Accounting Tasks
    • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll and other financial transactions.
    • Perform journal entries and maintain general ledgers.
    • Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies.
  • Computer and Technology Skills
    • Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
    • Collaborate with the accounting team to achieve financial goals.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Language
    • Fluent in English.
  • Work Schedule
    • 35 hours per week.
