Line Maintenance Manager

Job Overview
This role is pivotal in overseeing and coordinating the workforce at the Line Maintenance Base located at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ). The incumbent will be tasked with organizing teams comprising three Transport Canada recognized scopes: M, E, and S Aircraft Maintenance Engineers, ensuring that the appropriate skill sets are available for both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on the company's aircraft.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with fellow leaders, external service providers, and contracted firms to effectively manage operations at the maintenance facility.
- Ensure compliance with established work standards by all personnel under supervision.
- Oversee the inspection and rectification processes for aircraft and components, including repairs, modifications, overhauls, and alterations.
- Guarantee accurate completion of maintenance records pertaining to overall maintenance activities.
- Ensure that all maintenance work, whether planned or unplanned, is conducted safely and efficiently in line with Transport Canada regulations.
- Act as the technical liaison with all operational departments.
- Provide maintenance team members with the necessary tools, facilities, and training to effectively perform their duties.
- Maintain a robust workforce planning schedule.
- Engage actively in the Safety Management System (SMS), reporting hazards and incidents encountered during daily operations, while promoting adherence to the Company Safety Policy.
- Perform additional duties as required.

- Post-secondary education.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in managing aircraft maintenance engineers and technicians.
- Possession of a Transport Canada issued AME M2, E, or S license.
- Endorsements for DHC-8-Q400 and/or Embraer E1 or E2 are considered advantageous.
- Experience at Toronto Pearson is a plus.
- Valid Canadian passport with the ability to travel internationally.
- Strong organizational skills, time management, attention to detail, and the capacity to work independently.
- Ability to secure airside security clearance.
- Valid G driver's license.
- Familiarity with RAAS and AMOS is beneficial.
