This position is vital for maintaining the ongoing technical expertise and leadership in production, by overseeing a crucial segment of the business (technical, system, or organizational) to achieve results that align with the significant operational needs of the facility. Your Contributions
In what may be your initial managerial role, you will guarantee that Mondelez International's safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability, and employee morale objectives are met for the lines under your supervision. This involves breaking down section goals into line and unit targets, ensuring that team members comprehend their individual performance objectives in relation to the overall goals. Additionally, you will develop budgets and oversee cost control management, governance and compliance, loss reduction, and workforce planning, which includes recruitment, retention, development, succession planning, and identifying high-potential team members. Your leadership is essential for delivering high-quality snacks to our customers.

- Autonomous maintenance (AM) Step 4 systems and progressive maintenance (PM) Step 3 systems
- Independently maintaining equipment in optimal condition, including executing AM & PM (break-down maintenance, planned maintenance) standards on designated equipment
- Total productive maintenance and Six Sigma, including qualification of AM steps 5-6, and PM step 3
- Leading production teams
- Effectively managing challenging interpersonal situations
- Communicating clearly both verbally and in writing, with a strong attention to detail

Key Information About This Position:
The Team Leader role is crucial at the Gladstone site. You will face the challenge of guiding a team of operators to achieve daily production targets. Your responsibilities will include managing daily manufacturing operations for one of Mondelez's esteemed brands, as well as contributing to departmental productivity initiatives. A primary focus of this role will be to build and nurture your team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment to drive sustainable performance.

Education / Certifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Job Specific Requirements:
- 1 to 5 years of experience in food manufacturing or a related field
- Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma principles is beneficial

Work Schedule:
12-hour shifts (weekly rotation 2 x 5), totaling 37.5 hours per week
