Cleaning and Maintenance Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Multycare Maintenance Systems Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning and maintenance activities of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of the cleaning staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Inspect Sites and Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of our facilities to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Recommend Additional Services: Identify areas where additional services may be required, such as painting, repair work, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
- Assist Cleaners: Provide support to cleaning staff as needed, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and equipment to perform their duties.
- Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments to ensure that cleaning and maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure that cleaning and maintenance activities are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a cleaning and maintenance supervisory role.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Setting: Residential.
- Tasks: Hire and train or arrange for training of cleaning staff, supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers, inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards, recommend or arrange for additional services required, assist cleaners in performing duties, co-ordinate work activities with other departments, establish work schedules.
- Supervision: 5-10 people.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads.
