Senior Principal Consultant for Workday Student Financials

We are seeking experienced professionals in the Workday Student Financials domain to drive exceptional outcomes for our clients. As a Senior Principal Consultant, you will be expected to:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a Workday product authority with expertise in design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Uphold company policies and procedures while guiding others.
  • Direct and influence the tactical direction of project workstreams.
  • Recognize interdependencies and facilitate collaboration among various project workstreams.
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise the activities of other consultants on your projects.
  • Assist clients through facilitated design sessions and configuration choices based on best practices and an understanding of their unique business needs throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Engage with clients consistently during all project phases, ensuring a seamless transition from legacy systems to the Workday Student solution.
  • Manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision while keeping clients, project teams, and Engagement Managers informed of project developments.
  • Be prepared to take on leadership roles within projects or as a Cognizant or Workday product Partner Lead and/or Delivery Assurance Reviewer.
  • Demonstrate hands-on expertise with the software, including loading client data, transferring configurations between tenants, and setting up business processes and security.
  • Utilize technical skills to convert and map data sources into data conversion templates via iLoads.
  • Act as a mentor to fellow consultants and analysts, providing support for shadow assignments.
  • Participate actively in training updates and internal initiatives to share skills and knowledge with colleagues.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Subject Matter Expertise in Student Financials, preferably in a lead capacity on a Workday Student project.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, designing, prototyping, testing, and deploying solutions to meet client needs.
  • Report writing experience is highly desirable.
  • Workday Student certification is mandatory unless the individual has substantial experience with the Workday Student financials module.
  • Project leadership experience supporting the overall direction and delivery of functional solutions.
  • A commitment to exceptional customer service.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities, with a knack for managing client expectations effectively.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to travel on-site as necessary, though minimal travel is required.
