Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Workday product authority with expertise in design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Uphold company policies and procedures among team members.
- Steer and make strategic decisions regarding the tactical direction of project workstreams.
- Recognize interdependencies and facilitate collaboration between various project workstreams.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the activities of other consultants within project teams.
- Guide clients through structured design sessions and configuration choices, leveraging best practices and a comprehensive understanding of their unique business needs at all project stages.
- Engage consistently with clients throughout all project phases, ensuring a seamless transition from legacy systems to the Workday Student solution.
- Manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision while keeping clients, project teams, and Engagement Managers informed of project changes or progress.
- Be prepared to assume a leadership role on projects or act as a Cognizant or Workday product Partner Lead and/or Delivery Assurance Reviewer.
- Demonstrate hands-on expertise with the software, including loading client data, transferring configurations between tenants, and setting up business processes and security.
- Utilize technical skills to convert and map data sources into data conversion templates via iLoads.
- Mentor fellow consultants and analysts, providing support for shadow assignments.
- Actively participate in training updates and internal initiatives to share skills and insights with colleagues.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Subject Matter Expertise in Student Financials, preferably in a leadership capacity on a Workday Student project.
- Experience in requirements gathering, design, prototyping, testing, and deploying solutions to meet client needs.
- Proficiency in report writing is highly desirable.
- Workday Student certification is mandatory unless the individual has relevant experience with the Workday Student financials module.
- Leadership experience in guiding the overall direction and delivery of functional solutions.
- Commitment to outstanding customer service.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively manage client expectations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel on-site if necessary, although minimal travel is expected.
