Regional Water Treatment Specialist

The Regional Water Treatment Specialist will oversee the technical assistance for key Culligan clients within a designated area. Responsibilities include troubleshooting support, training on product and water technology, quality assessment reporting, assistance with commercial and industrial projects, product field evaluations, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Key clients include franchise dealerships, industrial users, national accounts, mechanical contractors, and retail product partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide regular updates on regional support activities and travel-related expenses.
  • Organize and lead product training sessions and seminars for dealership personnel, including service, sales, and administrative staff.
  • Facilitate periodic Household Service Training Schools in the region.
  • Conduct Commercial Service Training Schools at designated headquarters or other assigned locations.
  • Deliver on-site product support, oversee installations, and provide operator training on Culligan's commercial and industrial offerings.
  • Coordinate regional product field testing by engaging dealers and following up on their participation.
  • Foster two-way communication regarding product and service information between distribution channels and Culligan's Product Development and Quality Assurance teams.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager, Commercial Dealer Support, and Commercial & Market Development teams to identify sales growth opportunities.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required; a college or technical degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the water treatment sector.
  • Previous experience as a classroom instructor or educator is highly valued.
  • Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Strong mathematical abilities, including the ability to interpret reference materials such as tables and charts.
  • Capability to read and comprehend plumbing, piping, and electrical wiring schematics.
  • Good mechanical skills are essential; must be able to identify issues in water treatment system components and troubleshoot basic electrical circuits using handheld meters.
