Job Summary

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team in a full-time capacity. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating employees to assist with improving their health and well-being, as well as assisting with maximizing function to enable employees to stay at work or return to work in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of employees to identify areas of need and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Provide individualized treatment sessions to employees to improve their physical, cognitive, and mental health.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement return-to-work plans and accommodations.
  • Conduct workplace assessments and job demands analysis to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Develop and implement education programs to promote employee health and well-being.
  • Provide training and support to employees on workplace accommodations and return-to-work strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee assessments, treatment plans, and progress.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of the occupational therapy program.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
  • Experience working with employees in an industrial setting, preferably in a return-to-work capacity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
