Position Overview:
The Customer Service Coordinator plays a pivotal role in managing client orders within the region. This position collaborates closely with various team members, including the Inside Sales Director, Project Manager, Inside Sales Representative, Outside Sales Representative, and occasionally the Sales Engineering Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keep clients updated regarding their orders based on supplier estimated time of arrival (ETA).
- Follow up with suppliers to confirm estimated shipping dates.
- Coordinate pickups at the supplier's location when required and ensure timely delivery to clients.
- Collaborate with head office buyers to facilitate order execution.
- Assist in problem-solving and seek support from team members to address issues or escalations.
- Maintain internal spreadsheets for order tracking and share order status updates with clients.
- Conduct internal reporting and documentation.
- Work alongside buyers, warehouse personnel, and suppliers to resolve issues related to damaged, incomplete, or incorrect shipments.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel & Word) and Windows operating systems.
- Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and issue de-escalation.
- Ability to work independently.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills.
