Key Responsibilities

  • Exhibit proficiency in clinical workflows across major inpatient and outpatient services.
  • Recognize the distinctions between institutional, ambulatory, and business occupancy settings.
  • Collaborate with end users to define process flows and essential adjacencies of clinical spaces.
  • Provide guidance on medical equipment requirements and specifications.
  • Oversee the medical planning phase within the design team to develop floor plan concepts that align with operational needs.
  • Coordinate deliverables for the medical planning team in accordance with the overall project timeline.
  • Act as the primary liaison for clients regarding planning-related matters.
  • Support and mentor team members to enhance specialized knowledge and execution capabilities.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare planning, demonstrating leadership in clinical planning.
  • Thorough understanding of relevant codes, construction systems, materials, and standards.
  • Proficiency in Revit is essential.
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks and deliverables.
  • Strong leadership, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and adaptability.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Visio, is advantageous.
