At Parkin Architects, our team comprises over 100 skilled architects, designers, project managers, and administrative professionals, many of whom hold specialized accreditations such as LEED and Evidence-Based Design. We prioritize a tailored design experience for our clients, maintaining direct involvement from our Directors and Principals in every project. This hands-on approach fosters trust and allows us to comprehensively address operational needs, from technology and spatial requirements to enhancing employee health and productivity.

SENIOR ARCHITECT / PLANNER

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comprehend the distinctions between institutional and commercial occupancy settings.
  • Collaborate with end users to define process flows and essential adjacencies.
  • Facilitate discussions regarding equipment requirements.
  • Direct the planning phase within the design team to develop floor plan concepts that reflect operational needs.
  • Oversee the planning team's deliverables within the broader project timeline.
  • Act as the primary liaison for the client concerning planning matters.
  • Guide and mentor staff to enhance specialized knowledge and execution processes.
Qualifications and Educational Background:
  • A bachelor's degree in architecture is required.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare planning, with demonstrated expertise in clinical planning leadership and knowledge of architectural design and regulatory standards.
  • Proficiency in Revit is essential.
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, organizational, teamwork, and collaboration skills are necessary.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office is expected.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A Master of Architecture from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • Registered Architect status is advantageous.
