About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team at Milieu Familial les Colimaçons as a Child Care Worker Assistant. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing a safe and nurturing environment for young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in Housekeeping and Cooking Duties: Support our team in maintaining a clean and organized daycare environment, including cooking and preparing meals for the children.
  • Provide Care and Support to Infants and Toddlers: Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Maintain Daycare Equipment: Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and report any issues to the early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Support Early Childhood Educators: Assist in keeping records, observing children, and preparing reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Engage Children in Activities: Plan and implement activities that promote learning and development, such as storytelling, singing, and crafts.
  • Guide Children in Daily Routines: Assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Prepare Snacks and Meals: Prepare healthy snacks and meals for the children, and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Observe and Report on Children's Progress: Monitor children's development and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Participate in Staff Meetings: Attend staff meetings to discuss children's progress and any issues that may arise.
