Hotel Front Desk Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient individual to join our team as a Hotel Front Desk Clerk at Ponderosa Motor Inn. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing room assignments, and ensuring a smooth guest experience.
Key Responsibilities- Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
- Process group arrivals and departures, taking into account room availability and guest preferences.
- Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Provide guests with information on hotel facilities and services, as well as recommendations for local points of interest.
- Exchange foreign currency and process guest departures, calculating charges and receiving payments.
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
- Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments to ensure optimal room utilization.
- Follow emergency and safety procedures, and respond to guest inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
