Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and ensure accurate room assignments.
  • Front Desk Operations: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel, and change room reservations, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
  • Cash Handling: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments, as well as balance cash and complete balance sheets and cash reports.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls and relay messages, and follow emergency and safety procedures.
Requirements
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain accurate records and ensure attention to detail in all aspects of front desk operations.
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of efficiency and productivity.
  • Team Player: Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless guest service and front desk operations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Availability: Availability to work a 40-hour workweek is required.
