Hotel Front Desk Clerk

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Ponderosa Motor Inn. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing room assignments, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Registration: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and ensure accurate room assignments.
- Front Desk Operations: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel, and change room reservations, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
- Cash Handling: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments, as well as balance cash and complete balance sheets and cash reports.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
- Communication: Answer telephone calls and relay messages, and follow emergency and safety procedures.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain accurate records and ensure attention to detail in all aspects of front desk operations.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of efficiency and productivity.
- Team Player: Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless guest service and front desk operations.
- Experience: Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role is an asset.
- Language: Fluency in English is required.
- Availability: Availability to work a 40-hour workweek is required.
