Casa Mia Care Ltd is seeking a dedicated and passionate Recreation Coordinator to enrich the lives of our residents in a supportive and engaging environment.

As a Recreation Coordinator, you will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and overseeing recreational programs that cater to the diverse interests and abilities of our senior population. Your expertise in recreation, sports, and physical activities will be instrumental in creating a vibrant and fulfilling community within our care facility.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging recreational programs that promote physical, social, and cognitive well-being among residents.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess resident needs and tailor programs accordingly.
  • Supervise and mentor recreation staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality programs and a positive resident experience.
  • Stay informed about current trends and best practices in recreational therapy for seniors.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to program activities and resident participation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Leisure Studies, or a related field.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in recreational programming for seniors.
  • Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) designation preferred.
  • First Aid Certificate.
