About the Role

Casa Mia Care Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Recreation Coordinator to join our team. As a Recreation Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing recreation programs and services that promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Develop and implement recreation programs and services that meet the needs and interests of our residents, including sports, fitness, and leisure activities.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train professional staff, program leaders, and instructors to ensure the delivery of high-quality recreation programs.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks, such as budgeting, scheduling, and reporting, to ensure the smooth operation of the recreation department.
  • Special Events: Coordinate special events, such as festivals, concerts, and tournaments, to promote community engagement and resident participation.
  • Consulting Services: Provide expert advice and consulting services to residents, staff, and community partners on recreation program development and implementation.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Leisure Studies, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in recreation program development and implementation.
  • Certifications: Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) certification and First Aid Certificate.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
