About the Role

Casa Mia Care Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Recreation Coordinator to join our team. As a Recreation Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating recreation programs and services for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Develop and implement recreation programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train professional staff, program leaders, and instructors to ensure the delivery of high-quality recreation programs.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks such as budgeting, scheduling, and reporting to ensure the smooth operation of recreation programs.
  • Special Events: Coordinate special events and activities that promote socialization, engagement, and enjoyment among our residents.
  • Consulting Services: Provide expert advice and consulting services to staff and stakeholders on recreation program design, development, and administration.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) certification is an asset.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in recreation program coordination or a related field.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Leisure Studies, or a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
