Job Title: Registered Clinical Counsellor

Back in Motion Rehab is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Clinical Counsellor to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and compassionate Clinical Counsellor to provide high-quality psychological treatment and support to our clients. The successful candidate will have a strong background in counselling and rehabilitation, with experience working with clients who have experienced trauma.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group psychological treatment and support to clients with PTSD and occupational trauma.
  • Develop and implement individual treatment plans, write reports, and liaise with stakeholders.
  • Work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to clients.
  • Provide education classes, relaxation training groups, and individual psychological treatment/counselling sessions.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or equivalent.
  • Registered or eligible for registration with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors.
  • Excellent knowledge of the practice of counselling in a rehabilitation environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a rehabilitation context.
  • Experience working with third-party providers.
  • Experience treating clients who have experienced trauma.
