We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Counsellor to join our team at Back In Motion. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide psychological treatment and counselling services to clients enrolled in our Occupational Trauma Program and Occupational Rehabilitation Program.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate education classes, relaxation training groups, and individual psychological treatment/counselling sessions within the context of the Occupational Trauma Program.
- Develop and implement individual treatment plans, write reports, and liaise with stakeholders.
- Work closely with our interdisciplinary team, including Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Clinical Counsellors, and Kinesiologists.
- Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or equivalent.
- Registered or eligible for registration with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors.
- Excellent knowledge of the practice of counselling in a rehabilitation environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Experience working in a rehabilitation context.
- Experience working with third-party providers.
- Experience treating clients who have experienced trauma.
