Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist I to join our team at the Allan Blair Cancer Centre in Regina. As a Radiation Therapist I, you will play a critical role in preparing, planning, and delivering accurate and precise ionizing radiation treatments to cancer patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and plan ionizing radiation treatments according to the prescription of a Radiation Oncologist
  • Deliver accurate and precise treatments to cancer patients
  • Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest radiation therapy techniques and technologies
Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Radiation Therapy
  • Certification for Basic Life Saver (BLS)-C
  • Licensed with Saskatchewan Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (SAMRT)
  • Membership with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency with a variety of computer systems and software applications
  • Ability to perform a range of Radiation Therapy methods and processes
  • Moderate judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret detailed information and communicate effectively
  • Human relations skills to develop formal relationships of a therapeutic nature
