Job Title: Radiation Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Radiation Therapist to join our team at the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in the treatment of cancer patients, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate radiation therapy equipment to deliver precise and accurate treatments to patients.
  • Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families throughout the treatment process.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in radiation therapy.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or a related field.
  • Current certification from the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
  • Experience working in a radiation therapy department, preferably in a cancer treatment setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
